Our Clients: Laura Collett

Laura began to build her equine foundations at the tender age of 2. Her talent shone from an early age as she progressed to qualify for HOYS every year from 1996 to 2003. Winning in 2001, 2002 and then in 2003 she hit the peak as she won the Supreme Pony Championship.

Lucinda McAlpine

In conjunction with her career as an international dressage rider, Lucinda McAlpine has become one of the country's leading experts in Natural Horse Management. Over the last fifteen years her work has extended into the fields of diet, fitness, injuries and rehabilitation as well as behavioural work. Working everyday with between 20- 40 horses and ponies of various breeds, ages and types over this period has given her much experience of the benefits of a more natural lifestyle for the horse in comparison to the more conventional horse management systems that she studied for the previous 30 years.

In more recent years Lucinda's research has focussed on her home bred horses. Having 3 groups of full brothers and sisters means that she can fully explore the effects of 'Nature or Nurture' in relation to health, temperament, performance and longevity for the modern competition horse.

Heather Moffett

Heather began riding as a young child in the UK, but by her early teens, was questioning the methods being used to teach. By the age of sixteen, she had developed a different method of teaching riding, especially how to synchronise exactly with the movement of the horse. This enabled her to teach beginners with extraordinary speed, and also, to rectify long established faults in experienced riders. 14 years ago, she pioneered the teaching of riding with the Equisimulators, machines which simulate the movement of the horse, enabling very precise, hands on teaching, in total safety, successfully teaching hundreds of riders, all over the world.

Heather has trained for many years with classical teachers, including Belgian Capt Desi Lorent, a student of Portuguese Maestro, Nuno Oliveira, but specialising in the teaching of the Classical Seat, and refined aids. Heather then went on to train with Dr Margaret Cox, who grew up in Germany, training in German classical methods, and latterly, with Mestre Luis Valenca Rodrigues, in Portugal. Chiefly following the French school of classical equitation, which focuses on dressage as an art form, rather than as a competition sport, Heather is however best known as a remedial teacher of riding and an authority on the Classical Seat.

Alex Hua Tian

Alex has had a phenomenal beginning to his eventing story. He began riding in a small school in Beijing when he was 3 years old. From there, his talent developed by joining the pony club in Hong Kong. He then moved over to the UK, where he was fortunate enough to be able to use Monkey, an ex Hong Kong racehorse, whom he progressed to 3* level within just 3 years.
Following this, he secured a huge sponsorship deal which allowed him to travel the world and build up a team of horses, and managed to set a record by qualifying 4 of them for the Olympics. Alex was the first Chinese rider at an Olympic event, not only this, but he became the youngest ever event rider at the Olympics whilst at Beijing in 2008.
Alex was introduced to the Pure Feed range, and now feeds Pure Condition and Pure Sport and Stud in anticipation of Badminton this year, the World Equestrian Games, and the Asian Games. He Has Pure Talent.

Andy Martin

All round horseman, Andy Martin is a top competition and remedial farrier as well as training and riding his own point to pointers.

His horses have been on Pure Performance, the new feed for race and top competition horses since November, Andy has been impressed with the change in his pointers, Julia, his wife reported in December,

"two used to become very loose in their droppings when switched to race feed, but since they have been on the new feed they have been bloodie fantastico! they now have normal droppings and Andy even reckons the one horse is galloping much better and not looking for water when he has finished his work! so Andy Pandy is ova the mooooon, lets hope he runs a blinder!"

Andy had his first runners this weekend

"Just to let you know we had two runners yesterday and they ran fantastic!

Both horses suffered from loose droppings on normal race feeds, but since changing to Pure Performance the results speak for themselves.

Oranger never runs well first time out and has always been pulled up, but yesterday in the first division of the restricted he ran a blinder and finished whilst still catching a creditable 2nd. (6/1)

We have always struggled with Taxi Fare, as his conformation isn't great he has always been troubled with muscular problems and suffered with dehydration and stiffness, but since changing to your feed he is not so stiff or dehydrated and his droppings are 100% better. He ran fantastic yesterday, he has been galloping so well at home we decided to try him without his tongue tie in the 2nd division of the restricted, he jumped for fun and finished 4th.(25/1) out of 16 runners, ahh bless him!"

Andy Pandy is over the moon! He has been banging on about the new feed to all his customers.

Pure Fantastic.
