Laura Collett

Laura began to build her equine foundations at the tender age of 2. Her talent shone from an early age as she progressed to qualify for HOYS every year from 1996 to 2003. Winning in 2001, 2002 and then in 2003 she hit the peak as she won the Supreme Pony Championship.

It wasn't until after this that she decided to go down the eventing path. Laura's success snowballed from here. After competing on the pony, Noble Springbok, and winning individual gold and team silver for the British Young Rider team in South Africa, she switched from ponies to horses in 2006. From here, Laura became Junior European Champion on Fernhill Sox and defended this title in 2007, where she once again won gold, this time on Rayef. In 2009 she went on with Rayef to win double gold at the Young Rider European Championships and in 2010 won another Team Gold, this time on Fernhill Cristal. She is Pure Talent.

Laura has an exciting team of horses in her yard, and had a fantastic 2011 season. With Rayef she finished 9th at her first Badminton and she then went on to finish third in a highly competitive field in the CIC*** at Barbury. These fantastic results have earned her a place on the 2011 GB Squad for the European Eventing Championships - Go Laura!! Unfortunately the Europeans didn't go according to plan for Laura and Rayef and it was discovered upon return to England that Rayef was suffering from a virus. Fingers crossed he's back in full health for an amazing year in 2012

Laura feeds the Pure Condition, Pure Working and Pure Racing.
